A few weeks ago (during the Robin Festival) we hung up this new feeder.
On occasion, both Donna and I have seen a Hummingbird dart in, take a few sips, and dart away. I waited with my camera ready a few times but the shy little guys would catch the slightest movement of the camera and scram. Today...
...well, check this out! What you see there is a Ruby Throated Hummingbird.

What you REALLY see there is a photo of the feeder which I took, and a superimposed picture of a Hummingbird I downloaded from the Internet.
When I was a little boy, my father told me "don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see!" In today's world, it should be rephrased as "don't believe anything you hear or see!"
But, my blog didn't lie (go back and read it carefully)!
you got me....I was going to ask how on earth you snapped that photo...LOL
good job on superimposing though...you really can't tell.
I second that! I thought, man, I know those wings beat like 100 times a second, dad must have a really great camera!
Good job!
