...has been shattered.
The sweetest half of Johnna -our precious Donna- has been called home by God. Miss Donna Lee suffered a severe cerebral hemhorrage on 28 August and slipped away peacefully on 31 August.
She was born Donna Lee Colbert on September 12, 1934, in Sacramento, California.
Our Donna started each day with a song in her heart, and ended her evenings looking up at the stars, always thankful for her many blessings. She has been an inspiration to everyone that was fortunate enough to have known her. Memories of her kindness, generosity, beauty, and incredible spirit are things that will help all of her family and friends deal with her loss. While “Miss Donna Lee” may no longer be with us here on earth, she has fearlessly and courageously moved on to meet her Maker. As Autumn arrives, Donna’s extended family and friends will have a celebration of her life at her cherished home in Roseville.
God love you Donna. Everyone who ever met you certainly does. We will miss you forever.

Donna was a sweet, kind, gentle person. She always had a smile on her face and kind words to say. From the moment I met her, I loved her! I remember how excited Jana and I were after our first encounter with her. We knew she was PERFECT for my dad. Some people just have a glow of kindness about them. Some people you like immediately. She was one of them.
After Ellie was born she become an excellent Grandmother to her even though we lived 3,000 miles apart.
You will be missed, Donna. Thank you for the wonderful smiles and thank you for loving my Dad so well.

Donna was an amazing woman and a very special grandmother. I will miss her a lot. Besides her deep love for her family and friends, the one thing about her that sticks out is that I never once heard her say anything negative. She has such a positive outlook and was so kind and loving. :)
The world was a better place with Donna in it and we were all better for knowing her. I just wish I could have known her longer. I agree with Jessica, I don't think I ever heard her say one negative thing...EVER. She is a role model to us all. We will miss her as a stepmom, Grandma and friend. We love you Donna!
